The name come from CAESAR AUGUSTUS then ZARAGOZA. Conquered by Arabs: we can visit the Ajaferia, the buggiest Arab palace in spain after Alahbrah in Granada.

In Zaragoza they celebrate "La virgen del Pilar". Pilar means literally "column". In the past the cathedral of Zaragoza had survived from a bomb attack and the column kept the church alive. From that moment they deceared the "Virgen del Pilar"…
